MISSION
We,
at
Hamasdegh
Armenian
School
, believe in the preservation and development of the Armenian
language, culture and traditions. We strive to instill in
our students the love for, and the intellectual curiosity
towards the study of the Armenian language, history and
religion. As such, we are committed to creating and
maintaining an educational environment that fosters
understanding by the students of the traditional Armenian values
and prepares them for active community service. Parents
are encouraged to become partners in this endeavor through their
participation in, and support of, all school activities.
CURRICULUM
Armenian language, religious
education, history and traditional music are part of
Hamasdegh
Armenian
School
's curriculum. Our Sunday morning classes cover each of
these subjects. Students also regularly attend Holy Mass
and receive Holy Communion on religious Holidays.
REGISTRATION
AND ADMISSION
Admission into Kindergarten is
open to children who will have reached 5 years of age on
December 31 of the academic year in which they are enrolled.
Students must present a birth certificate and
completed application form and pay each semester’s tuition
upon registration. A limited number of scholarships are
available based on financial need. Students must have
completed all immunizations required under applicable law prior
to attending classes.
